Life is great!

Today was a very interesting day for me.

We attended the 11:00AM mass at Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden and what a way to start a new week!  I am so happy because finally I was able to visit this amazing place after four years of living here in Colorado.  What made the visit more special was that I was able to light candles for the first time here in the US.  I truly consider lighting a candle special since I was born in the Day of Candles, February 2.  In the Philippines where I was born, we consider candles as symbols that represent as the Light of God.  I hope that those candles that I lit at the shrine will shed light to the whole world especially in this trying economic recession.

In two hours, I am going to be 37 years old!  Wow, I truly find it unbelievable!  Though, I am a little bit scared that I am really getting the age.  But I am really happy and contented with my life right now.  I have beautiful and supportive family and friends who make life so great; and I am fortunate to have a very considerate and loving husband and an adorable girl who make my everyday complete.  Yes, I am blessed and I really can't thank the Lord enough.  HE is really GREAT!

I am also happy that hubby has finally set up my own domain here.  We have really been checking out how to set up a domain and to find a host, too.  With hope and prayers, this will turn out to be rewarding.   Have a good night all!  I hope we sleep well so we can be bright and ready for a whole new week.
