peppermint or cinnamon gum for traffic stress?
San Antonio, Texas has a population of more than a million that is why it has a lot of motorists. This is what my husband has been trying to get used to since we got moved here from Colorado about 4 months ago. It will take him about 30 minute to an hour from home to work and vice versa. However, there are a number of times where he is sitting in the middle of traffic for more than an hour which is really outrageous. Geez!
When he got home tonight, I shared with him about what I learned from the net that peppermint and cinnamon gum can relieve a stress of a traffic-packed commute. And he was like: "Really?" Yes, folks! In a study monitoring 25 college students during simulated driving scenarios, it was found out that peppermint lowered their feeling of fatigue or anxiety by 20%. Peppermint and cinnamon each decreased frustration by 25%, increased alertness by 30%, and made the ride seem 30% shorter. Isn't that cool? So, have some peppermint and cinnamon gum while traversing a traffic jam packed road. Not a gum or candy person? Buy peppermint or cinnamon aromatherapy diffusers for your car; and have a happy merry way!
