hubby's work training in Chicago
I remember about 2 years ago, my husband had to go to Chicago for a school that deals with hybrid technology. His work has taught him many things and brought him many places to learn the skills he needs to continue to be the best at what he does for a living. I remember him saying how odd it was that he was going to school for General Motors and when he got there he had to drive a Toyota Corolla. I would of thought that General Motors would of insisted he drive a GM car when he was there. I remember the funniest thing he said was not only was it a Toyota but it was a broken Toyota.
Not to take anything away from that company because they do make good cars, too but it left him looking for Chicago auto repair while he was there for school. While he was in his 2 day class, he called Repair Pal to pick up the car and get it repaired or provide him a different one. He should have asked for a GM car for his company’s name sake but the Toyota came back with a new water pump installed and just in time because he was due to catch his plane home after his last day of class. In the future, I hope that when hubby goes to school, he gets a car he is familiar with so if it does break down he stands a better chance of getting it repaired quickly. He can just tell someone what’s wrong with it and it can be fixed. Hubby is that smart, you know! Am I raising my own back?
