off to Shell Beach

That's Shell Beach in Padre Island National Seashore. We went there to check out the place last Saturday. It was an almost 4-hour busy drive but we didn't mind it. It was much busier because of Spring Break. Geez, I just can't imagine the drive by next week. I am sure it will be worst.

The Loves of my life - Hubby and Kate are collecting sea shells. This is supposed to be the Big Shell Beach but the shells are really not big. At about 10 miles before this beach, you can find the Little Shell Beach which has the littlest sea shells you can find. They are as little as the littlest button you can find.

We had a nice weather that day around 80's. The water was still a bit too cold so you can't see people dipping in it except for those brave ones. But there were a quite few who were camping, fishing and just hanging out in the beach. Hopefully we can have a dip the next we will go there. Yeah, we will be back there and that is for sure!
