on Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas

My family at Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas.

What a beautiful day it was!  I know, I know the picture is kinda blurry.  It wasn't foggy that day, it was the lens of my camera which had a little finger print on it.  Can you guess whose finger print was it?  Anyways, it was such a lovely day that time.

We had friends from Colorado who had plans of visiting this base; and we are so happy and thankful that they let us tag along with them.  That was my first step of a US Base and it was really grand and truly an eye opener.  You see, we just can't enter a military base that easy.  Good thing that Dave (a friend from Colorado) is a retired Navy.

Tess and I at the Navy Lodge inside Naval Air Station, where we stayed for one night.

The next day, we went goofing off the base.  It wasn't as huge as our friends expected it to be but for me it was already that big to me.  It feels like they have their own community inside the base - shopping store, fire department, a few eating places, bowling place, etc.  It seemed like it has a world of its own for it is so quiet there.

I was truly amazed with all the coast guard air crafts there.  There were hundreds of them!  We also saw other types of aircraft there.  They even manufacture air crafts parts and assemble them there.  How cool is that!  Awesome!  That's all I had been saying inside Naval Air Station in Corpus Christi, Texas.
