My mom and I always make a day out of decorating the house. It actually takes us a few days to fully decorate everything, but in the end it's well worth it. Just yesterday we decorated the entire outside of the house. We strung garland around the window frames of the porch and twisted around the light poles out front. Our house looks nice and festive for the holiday season, now that we've decorated the outside. Before that, we made sure to put up the tree and completely adorn is with different ornaments and garland. It came out absolutely lovely.

When we decorate the house for Christmas, we always blast holiday music. My mom says that it just doesn't feel the same if we don't. We have about four different music albums that we play each year and the same songs come on over and over again. I don't mind it, it really does brighten the spirit and get us into the holiday mood. After we're done decorating, we'll relax and watch some satellite television from http://www.bestchoicetv.com/satellite-tv/ while snacking on some milk and cookies. My mom always bakes up the best cookies and I look forward to them every single year. In fact, she has some baking right now for us to enjoy. We still have a little more decorating to do, but it's almost done for the holiday season.
