The winter is my favorite time to knit. I enjoy knitting so much that I actually have a whole room designated to my hobby. I've been doing this craft for about twenty years and I feel like I am getting better and better with each project. Sometimes, people will even pay me to knit them a sweater or something for their newborn baby. It's really fantastic to feel that I am giving back to my community just by knitting a simple stitch. My grandmother taught me how to knit a long time ago and I actually learned fairly quickly. Over the years, my work has progressed enormously so that I am almost a self-proclaimed professional knitter.

While knitting, I like to relax in from of the Directv and just knit my heart out. I normally have a nice, big cup of coffee sitting next to me so that I can sip and relax while knitting a pair of socks or a sweater. My favorite thing to knit are purses. A knitted purse might seem a little cheap to some, but I absolutely love them. I have a knitted purse in almost every color and style. I try to stay in with the current trends and knit accordingly. I wouldn't be surprised if I continue to knit well into my old age since I love it so much.
