to enjoy eating without eating too much?

The one thing we like to do is to eat out a lot.  I know it’s a really bad habit but we live in a city where there is so many good places to eat.  One of the things I think would be helpful if we are going to continue our habit is learning how to suppress appetite.  There has to be a way we still can enjoy eating out without eating too much.  The restaurants are not very helpful with the full menus but that is what people really want.  We are hoping to make the changes necessary in our lives to lose weight and also enjoy our favorite places to eat out.
